No drilling, no routing, no modifications to the guitar! This kit will convert StopTailpiece Guitars to use a Bigsby®with no modifications.
The Goldo Downholder is mounted in the existing mounting holes of the Stop tailpiece and allows the installation of a Tremollo system without pressure roller, which allows to bring the ropes with sufficient pressure at the bridge. With this Downholder / trem combination without pressure roll, any guitar with StopTail can be turned into a working tremolo guitar without having to drill the wood of the guitar. Downholder mounting screws are available in metric and US thread sizes. The spacing between the studs can be adjusted flexibly. The shaft is simply pushed without tightening through the mounting holes in the studs, then secured with a set screw each.
