CTS Electrocomponents and WD Custom Modified Series 450 Potentiometer, ±9% Tolerance, 275 kΩ to 1 MΩ
WD Music Products developed this high-quality potentiometer with CTS to give your instrument's electronics exceptional performance. These are NOT the same CTS pots that other companies stock and sell. They are built with ±9% tolerances and a value 10% above the standard ohm rating (275 kΩ for 250 kΩ, and 550 kΩ for 500 kΩ). This ensures optimum performance and guarantees that your potentiometers will always be at least the stated value.
Many others use 20% tolerances (a pot may be over spec, but in most cases it is far below). These specifications ensure good tone from your pickups. Brass components and a high-quality wiper have also been added, compared with what comes standard on most ordinary potentiometers, for long life, quality and consistent performance.
