Alder has been a wood of choice for instrument building since the 1960s. This body is routed for a standard PB-Style single coil pickup. It is designed for a top-loading bridge. A PB-Style with a top-loading bridge offers a warmer sound with richer mids. The neck pocket and the pickup route are fitted and may need slight adjustment with sandpaper or a wood chisel.
