Dreamsongs Micro J-Bass - modernized version

The Modern J-Bass by Dreamsong Pickups is a modern take on the classic Jazz Bass pickup — slightly hotter for a broader, richer tone without excessive boom. It offers increased midrange presence and a strong growl, while maintaining the hallmark note articulation and clarity of a traditional Jazz Bass pickup.

Handbuilt using vintage-style components: vulcanized fiberboard bobbin, high-quality Alnico 5 magnets, enamel-coated magnet wire, cloth lead wires, and wax-potting to prevent microphonics.

The result: a pickup true to the Jazz Bass legacy — quick response, slender body feel — but with a more assertive, modern voice, perfect for funk, rock, groove, or any bassist wanting a more present voice.

Compatible with standard Jazz Bass routing; excellent for bridge or neck positions as required.
