Wound more heavily than traditional Strat pickups and equipped with full-strength Alnico 5 magnets, the Classic Blues retain all the clarity and twang characteristic of a Stratocaster, while providing more sustain and bite for crunch and overdrive sounds.
The “Modified Vintage Stagger” by Tonerider ensures optimal balance between strings on a wide variety of instruments and modern radii. The middle pickup is wound in RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity), allowing for reduced noise in intermediate positions.
Each pickup is fully wax potted to limit microphonic issues, even at high volume. The set comes with mounting screws, latex tubing for height adjustment, and an installation guide.
