Kluson gold adapters for fitting vintage Kluson tuning machines (11/32") into 10 mm holes designed for modern sealed tuning machines, for Tele or Strat
Vintage tuning machines are designed for headstock (peghead) holes of 11/32" (8.73 mm) diameter, with a tuner post smaller than 6.35 mm (made in Germany).
Please note: these bushings are made by Duesenberg/Kluson Europe. They are therefore compatible by design with the vintage Kluson tuning machines from the same manufacturer (eBay items 120567621791 and 120797046521; post approx. 6 mm, bushing inner diameter approx. 6.15 mm), but the inner diameter of these bushings is slightly larger (approx. 6.45 mm), probably to make them compatible with Kluson USA / Gotoh vintage tuning machines (SD91, eBay items 110649930739 and 110534370347; post 1/4", approx. 6.35 mm)
However, given industrial manufacturing tolerances, the post of a US tuning machine may just slide in (general case, especially if the post is under 6.35 mm) or may be hard to fit (possible jamming): measure the outer diameter of your tuning machine posts carefully; ideally it should be under 6.30 mm.
