Sadly l’m returning the Gotohs to ADP. Before buying l did check Gotoh’s schematic for fit. It all looked okay. Whilst the Gotoh’s string posts fit my custom shop Strat, the Gotoh screw holes do not line up with the pre drilled holes on the Strat’s headstock. I would have to drill new screw holes to fit Gotoh tuners. This would not be a good solution. As one of the Strat’s screw holes, 1st E tuner, would be exposed. This would need to be plugged. As well as the original holes. I have decided to keep the original Fender tuners.
