Bumblebee Oil Filled 0,015 µF Capacitor, Vintage Tone with Precision
Inspired by the famous Bumblebee capacitors found in certain Gibson guitars from the 1950s, this Bumblebee Oil Filled 0,015 µF capacitor recreates the look and spirit of vintage electronic circuits.
Unlike old oil paper capacitors, this version combines oil and Mylar film to improve the consistency of electrical characteristics and long-term reliability.
With its 0,015 µF capacitance, this capacitor provides more moderate treble roll-off than a 0,022 µF or 0,047 µF model at equivalent settings. It is particularly suited to guitarists looking to smooth their tone without losing too much clarity.
It is an especially interesting option for the tone control of a neck humbucker pickup when you want to retain definition in the low end.
