Split shaft potentiometers are available in two versions. Both have a diameter of 6 mm but differ in the number of splines.Fine Spline Buttons (USA) have 24 splines. On the potentiometer there are 10 on each side of the slot (20 in total).Coarse Spline buttons (Metric / Asia), have a total of 18 splines. On the pot, there are 8 on each side of the slot (16 in total).
