With its Natural Wood finish, this Type S body showcases the natural beauty of alder. The satin nitro lacquer with its matte finish protects the wood while highlighting its grain and tonal variations.
As each piece is unique, the wood grain naturally varies from one body to another, giving each instrument its own character.
The HSH (Humbucker / Single coil / Humbucker) configuration offers outstanding versatility. It combines the power of humbuckers with the clarity of the centre single-coil pickup, covering a wide range of tones.
Made from alder, this body offers excellent tonal balance, with crisp highs, rich mids and well-defined lows. The cavities are precision machined for easy assembly and excellent compatibility with Type S format components.

Each body is precision machined, but slight variations may exist between neck manufacturers. Minor adjustment of the neck pocket or neck heel may therefore be required for a perfect fit. This is a common luthiery operation and not a manufacturing defect.
