Nitrocellulose Black Spray Paint – Professional Finish for Guitars

Nitorlack makes it easy to customize your guitar with this nitrocellulose spray, specially designed to achieve a professional finish without complex equipment. Whether you're a hobbyist or an experienced luthier, you can transform your guitar with our full range of sprays: primers, colors, and topcoats available in gloss or matte.

How much spray is needed?

Consumption varies depending on the type of guitar, the wood used, the desired finish (closed or open pore), and the number of coats applied. For guidance:

Electric guitar neck: 2 topcoats (matte or glossy)

Electric guitar body: 1 base coat + 3 topcoats

Classical/acoustic guitar: 1 base coat + 4 to 5 topcoats

Ukulele: 2 topcoats

Application Instructions

Shake the spray well for 2 to 5 minutes before use.

Apply thin coats, from a distance of 20 cm, using even strokes.

Work in a well-ventilated area with low humidity.

Before application, sand with 400 grit and apply a primer for a smooth surface.

Between each coat, sand lightly and allow 12 to 24 hours of drying time.
