An ideal base for your Type S project
Made from 2-piece alder, this Type S body comes unfinished to allow you to choose each step of your project. Whether you want to apply an opaque paint, a stain, a clear varnish, a nitrocellulose finish, or an oil, this body is an excellent working base.
The HSH (Humbucker / Single coil / Humbucker) configuration opens the door to many sound possibilities. It combines the power of humbuckers with the clarity of a central single coil, allowing you to cover both vintage sounds and the most modern registers.
Alder is a wood appreciated for its excellent tonal balance. It offers precise highs, well-present mids, and defined lows, making it a particularly versatile choice.
The cavities are precisely machined to facilitate assembly and ensure excellent compatibility with Type S format components.

Note
Each body is made from natural wood. The grain, shade, and weight may slightly vary from one piece to another, making each piece unique.
As with any lutherie project, slight dimensional differences may exist between neck manufacturers. A slight adjustment of the neck pocket or neck heel may sometimes be necessary to achieve a perfectly fitted assembly. This is a common operation and not a manufacturing defect.
