The Tonerider City Limits pickup set for Stratocaster is designed for guitarists seeking powerful Texas blues tones, with more body, dynamics, and character than a traditional vintage set. The neck and middle pickups offer rich lows, generous mids, and sweet highs with a perfectly controlled "bell-like" timbre, while the more powerful bridge pickup provides the punch needed for rock, muscular blues, and singing solos.
Equipped with Alnico 5 magnets and a hybrid Alnico 5 / Alnico 2 bridge, the City Limits set combines attack, warmth, and harmonic balance. The “Modified Vintage Stagger” developed by Tonerider ensures excellent balance between the strings, even on modern guitars with a flatter radius.
The middle pickup is wound in RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity), allowing effective noise reduction in intermediate positions. Each pickup is fully wax potted to limit feedback and microphonics, even at high volume.
Compatible with all standard format Stratocasters, this set comes with mounting screws, latex tubing for height adjustment, and an installation guide.
